Press Showing at Mary’s, Entertainment Quarter – Sydney | 2 December 2025
On a sun-drenched Sydney afternoon, a curated list of Australia’s most influential fashion editors, journalists, and cultural tastemakers gathered at Mary’s in the Entertainment Quarter for an intimate showing by Liz Roberts, CEO & Owner, of One Teaspoon.
The event celebrated the current Holiday collection Rebel in Bloom, previewed the upcoming Spring/Summer collection This Is Not a Dream (launching January), and gave a close-up look at the brand’s 25th-Anniversary Capsule.




The setting was unmistakably OT: a little gritty, irreverently luxe, and filled with the kind of quiet confidence that’s been defining the brand for a quarter of a century.
With the venue transformed by The Flower Drum by Holly Hipwell, guests were greeted by sculptural florals — wild, romantic and softly rebellious — mirroring the collections on display. Each attendee received a bespoke gift basket designed exclusively for the event.
A CONVERSATION LED BY LIZ ROBERTS, CEO & OWNER
Founder and creative force Liz Roberts personally guided guests through the collections, weaving together past, present and future in a way only she can.
Editors touched fabrics, inspected hand-finished elements, saw new silhouettes from every angle, and heard directly from Liz how each piece fits into the next chapter of One Teaspoon.

HOLIDAY 2025: REBEL IN BLOOM (OUT NOW)
The event opened with the Holiday drop, Rebel in Bloom, a collection that fuses romantic rebellion with undone sensuality.
Invitees previewed the collection highlights including studded cut-offs, floral trims contrasted with heritage washes, romantic graphics with rebellious undertones, and lightweight resort pieces that slide effortlessly from beach to bar.

SPRING/SUMMER 2026: THIS IS NOT A DREAM (LAUNCHING JANUARY)
An exclusive preview of the upcoming S/S collection This Is Not a Dream bings forth an entirely new mood: sun-bleached optimism, surrealist graphics, fluid shapes, sandy stone hues and hyper-collectible denim. Key details include elongated proportions, ethereal mesh layers, dream-state prints and playful, escapist denim silhouettes. A thread of island fantasy, and a whole lot of undone luxury. The perfect preview for an endless summer.

THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY CAPSULE: A TRIBUTE TO WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
To mark the milestone, One Teaspoon presented a limited-edition 25-Year Capsule — a tight, considered edit honouring the brand’s most iconic pieces.
The capsule pays homage to the early days while pushing forward with modern refinements. Featuring heritage limited edition studded denim, timeless tees with anniversary graphics, and signature understated premium hardware and studs. The capsule celebrates luxe, embellished denim in classic fits like the Bandits Denim Shorts, Jackson Wide Leg Jeans and Denim Trucker Jacket.

THE SETTING: MARY’S, BUT MAKE IT ONE TEASPOON
Mary’s legendary irreverent energy set the backdrop: warm lights, loud character, cult-favourite dishes, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for industry insiders to lean into conversation and discovery.
Catering was curated in collaboration with Mary’s, pairing the brand’s iconic hospitality with One Teaspoon’s equally iconic edge.


FLORALS BY THE FLOWER DRUM
Overhead, florals by Holly Hipwell cascaded from corners and tabletops — bold, sculptural, wild. The Flower Drum’s work brought in a softness that played against the denim, studs and metallic details on display, creating a beautiful tension that guests couldn’t stop photographing.







THE FUTURE
This year’s press showing wasn’t just about unveiling new pieces — it was about celebrating everyone who’s been part of the One Teaspoon story. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do: to create clothes that feel like freedom, rebellion, escapism and self-expression all at once.
Seeing editors, stylists and tastemakers get up close with the collections — touching fabrics, photographing details, asking questions about the craftsmanship — reminded us of the same excitement you feel when you discover a piece that just clicks.
