When you run a global fashion brand, inspiration is everywhere, but nothing sparks creativity quite like stepping away from the office and immersing yourself in new places. This summer, I swapped the boardroom for beach clubs and embarked on a Mediterranean adventure that combined a little business with a whole lot of bliss.
From the French Riviera to the Amalfi Coast, with Corsica and Sardinia stealing my heart along the way, here’s a peek inside my journey, my favourite stops, and the pieces I packed to keep things effortlessly cool along the way.

Cannes – Paris on the Beach
Cannes was our starting point, where elegant Parisian style collides with Mediterranean sunshine. The heat hit the moment we landed, and my suitcase of Bandits was the real MVP. There’s just something about worn-in denim and the high waist Bandit's laid-back glamour that feels like the perfect match.
Days were all about beach club swims, cobblestone strolls, and late afternoons spent sipping cocktails with a view. The French Riviera is a reminder that sometimes the best meetings happen with salty hair and sandy feet.
Packing tip: A silk slip dress works for day-to-night when styled with flat sandals for exploring or dressed up with heels for sunset drinks.

St Tropez – The Glam Detour
We hopped over to St Tropez by boat, a move that felt as stylish as it sounds. The boutiques were buzzing with pieces you can only find here, but honestly, my denim cut-offs and an oversized linen shirt carried me through perfectly.
The beaches? Not the star of the show, but the vibe is undeniable. After an afternoon of wandering and window shopping, we cooled off in the sea and toasted the day with an Aperol spritz before heading back across the water.

Monte Carlo – For the Thrill Seekers
Monte Carlo was all about my partner’s Formula 1 obsession, but let’s be real...it’s impossible not to get swept up in the energy here. Sports cars, yachts, and heritage architecture everywhere you look, it’s like a living movie set.
After a morning of exploring, we hit the rooftop pool at The Fairmont (perched right above the iconic hairpin turn) for cocktails and swims overlooking the Grand Prix track. My outfit? High-waisted jeans, a silk cami, and oversized sunglasses... the perfect blend of polished and practical.

Corsica – The Untamed Escape
Next came something new for us: Corsica. Landing on this rugged island felt like stepping into a wilder, more secret side of the Mediterranean. We based ourselves in Bonifacio, a cliffside port town dripping in history, with limestone cliffs hiding secluded beaches you have to hunt for.
Here, I lived in my lightweight denim shorts and loose tanks, ideal for scrambling down hidden paths to turquoise coves and browsing the local markets for picnic supplies (baguette and cheese, always).

Sardinia – Laid-Back Perfection
Sardinia was slower, quieter, and honestly, unforgettable. We spent days island-hopping around La Maddalena, diving into that impossibly clear water, and ending nights with seafood pasta and rustic red wine.
This was the spot where my denim overalls came into their own. Effortless, throw-on-and-go style is key when you’re bouncing between beaches. Paired with bikini tops and bare feet? Perfection.

Capri - A Quick Getaway

Amalfi Coast – Coming Home
Flying into Naples meant one thing: Praiano, our second home. Tucked between Positano and Amalfi, this village is low-key magic. Days started with swims at the pebble beach, afternoons with Aperitivos at Il Pirata, and nights at Trattoria San Gennaro watching the sun fade behind Positano’s sparkling lights.
For evenings here, I love a silky slip dress layered with a vintage denim jacket. Add strappy sandals and a bold lip, and you’re ready for a night of pasta, music, and way too much limoncello.

What This Trip Taught Me
As I wrap this up, still dreaming about that last limoncello spritz, I can’t help but think how much these trips matter as a creative. They fill your soul, spark new ideas, and remind you exactly why all the hard work is worth it.
For me, fashion has always been about freedom. Expressing yourself without rules. Nothing captures that spirit like a European summer spent in denim shorts, easy slip dresses, and clothes that move with you through every moment of adventure.
Until next time, Mediterranean. I’m already planning next year…
